Maryborough Sugar Mill to Close

I was sad to hear that the sugar mill in Maryborough was to close.

I can remember the soot falling in the backyard as a child in maryborough and seeing all the trucks driving to the mill with their loads of cane, and then returning to the farms with the empty cages.

Good luck to those left in the Sugar Industry in Maryborough
